Finally bought a TRACTOR! Good Deal?

I bought a 2003 John Deere 5520 MFWD with cab, air, and FEL. Only had 179 hours on the tractor. This is a 90 horse motor with 75 hp pto. Tractor came with bucket, pallet forks, hay spear for front and back, post hole digger, John Deere 6' shredder, Land Pride 8' Harrow Disc. I also got a 2003 Mongoose 32' tandem dual trailer with dovetail and ramps, a Miller Bobcat 250 NT Welder with 12.5 hours. All for $40,800. I think this was a steal. What do you guys think?

What do I think? where did you get the $40,800? Did you steal it? man if I had $40k I would invest it in Istar stock(SFI). At about $15.00 a share and paying a 20% interest rate dividend I could double my money and buy me two new tractors! Just kidding on stealing the money though? Good deal.

Couple years ago a guy posted a similar thread where he was basically bragging about the huge steal he got on a skid. Turns out he didn't get such a good deal. He bought thru a 3rd party that "protected" his money. he found out that it was a total scam - copied sale pictures from somewhere else and the 3rd party was the scammer under a different name.

he didn't have pictures either....


Let's hope that didn't happen here!

No, not a naysayer - just worried that you may have been scammed. Glad you have the cold steel in your hot and grubby hands. Too often what looks too good to be true -- is.
