No, I do not have live PTO or a 2 stage clutch. That's about the only thing I wish I had on this little machine.

I've priced upgrading to a 2 Stage, but it's cost prohibitive.

SoundGuy and I are brothers...TBN Brothers anyway... Sooner or later, you other guys are gonna look like us...or Bird! That's the price of fame, I'm afraid...

Roy,
My John Deere 850 does not have a 2 stage clutch or live PTO.
But it still has an internal overrunning clutch, so an external clutch is not needed.
I would asume your machine would be the same.

Thanks for that info...the operator manual doesn't specify, but I'll ask the dealer about that. I assume your tractor is a collar shift too? (4 speed plus reverse, High/Low Ranges)

One thing..when I was at the Land Pride/Kubota Dealer...there was a 755 there. Kinda surprised that machine is smaller then my 670.

One thing I've considered was finding the 790 model engine and installing it. Then, I'd think upgrading to a 2 Stage clutch would be a worthwhile endeavor. Although I'd like more HP, the 670 is an ideal size for my few acres.

Pipe dreams, I guess...but that's what rainy days are for...aren't they?

Yes, 8 forward and 2 reverse speeds.
26 hp Yanmar diesel ,22 PTO hp.
Some 850's had the 2 stage clutch, mine does not.
