That's exactly what my dad did to his old 194x K5 International truck. He bent it when it was a year old or so, and he never touched it again as long as the truck lived. It was parked in 1972. He said the pistons were so warn they rotated both around the crank as well as end to end of the shaft. But the tie-rod was never a problem again.
Yeah, I bent one on the B7500 I had . I got the right front tire hung behind a chunk of concrete and backed up, squish, it bent the tie rod. I limped it back home skidding the bucket in reverse and bent it back. I don't have any tie rods on the Kioti, Just a double acting hydraulic cylinder up there with some armor over it. I never had any trouble with the L3400, maybe I had learned my lesson on the B7500
