Chuckwagon - You're half way home. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it's not the train! If you were happy with the can and gasket size of the Ford filter, even though the wrong thread size, I've done a little research, and a very common thread size is 20 mm by 1.5 thread for oil filters. There are other combinations. My suggestion at this point is use the Wix on-line technical help (not listed on front web page but you'll find it if you look a little farther on that site. If you would run those filter numbers by them, (they are experts at it), and give them the make and model of the engine, they should be able to find what you want. Be sure to tell them that the Ford filter is similar in size, but just threaded wrong. Second choice is go back to your automotive dealer, and ask them to let you look at their oilfilter book (Oil filter Bible). The last 50 pages is filter numbers, and all the dimensions. The easiest way to find what you're looking for is probably look for 20mm X 1.5 in the thread size of their chart. Then to the left of the thread size will be the can and gasket dimensions. You definitely want a anti-drain back and 7-13-lb relief pressure valve. Make sure it's an oil filter - NOT hydraulic filter. The 20mm thread is approximately 0.030+ over 3/4 " - not quite 25/32's. And remember the pipe nipple, if it is 20 mm, that's the OD, and the filter hole will be the inside thread (approx. 1/16" smaller). I'll let you in on one top secret. When you find your filter, be sure to fill the filter full of oil if it's and upright, and 2/3 full if it's on its side, and put the oil in the engine first, and the filter on last. This will help purge the air out of the system. Seriously. Top secret .Shhhh! If I could help anymore, let me know. Yugo
