2007 4110 Mahindra w/ M112 loader and Kubota B2910 w/ loader.
I was looking on the Compact Tractor reveiw site and noticed in the Mahindra reveiws that replacement filters are a dealer item. Is this true? Can they be purchased at NAPA etc?
Also the hydraulic filter is not a spin on filter, what type of filter is it, cartridge?
If these are dealer only how difficult are they to get when needed?

The Tranny / Hyd filters on the 4110 are dealer items. There are two cartridge type filters for this. I use a napa or wix engine oil filter. I had filters and a hose recently shipped direct to my house overnight. Getting them doesn't seem to be a problem, and you only need those filters every 300 hrs.

Thanks that is what I was looking for.
I am going to look at a 4110 tomorrow

I have a 2615 and the dealer has filters in stock. Mine are spin on type. When I need them I stop on my way home from work and pick them up. I also recently had to replace my glow plugs which the dealer also had in stock. I have not had a problem getting parts yet.

On my 4110, the cartridge hyd. filter in the large canister (p/s suction filter) is a dealer item. The spin-on on top of the rear axle assembly is a NAPA #1621 (or Wix 51621). There is also a metal screen filter in the very bottom of the rear housing (left side), held in with 1 bolt , that you can rinse out. You remove the bolt and gently pry the cylindrical housing out with a screwdriver. It is just a snug "O" ring fit/seal - no parts required unless the screen is damaged. I just rinse in mineral spirits and blow out good with shop air, lube the "O" ring and tap it gently back in. I find it easiest to drop the whole cartridge housing to change that one, instead of taking the end off the housing with it mounted in place. This let's you rinse the housing out good too before installing the new cartridge. I clean & lube the "O" ring that seals the end of that housing too. The engine oil filter is a NAPA #1324 (or Wix 51324). Air filters are strictly dealer items and you can buy the inner & outers seperate or as a set. Fuel filter is a dealer item as well. I've ordered many parts over the 5 years I've had mine and never had a problem getting them, that all depends on the dealer you use, in my experience.

The top hydraulic filter on the 4110 that Skip is talking about isn't used on the newer 4110's and the lower one has been changed to a spin on filter. The last 3 4110's I have gotten in have used the spin on filter.
The 10 series filters are readilly availabe and reasonably priced from Mahindra. Check the dealer on the filter pricing. Good Luck!

Galen, are these 4110 filter changes in any way related to the recent hydraulic flow "upgrade" from 7.87 to 9.5 GPM? Or are they wholly separate issues?

Would we be able to convert the 4110's with the larger canister filter?

??? I don't recall one on top of the rear axle. I will look tomorrow. My filter in the left side rear housing isn't a metal screen. The one in the canister is a metal scren though. That Napa filter is the same one I use.

The upper filter was discontinued on the 4110's about 4 years ago. The lower filter I assume could be converted to the new spin on filter but would require a few parts. I would keep the canister one as it has more filter surface. Take care.
