Filter strap wrench for John Deere

I was in Farm and Fleet yesterday and picked up a filter strap wrench made for John Deere. I will let you know if it works with my 3320. Anyone use this wrench - much larger diameter than the other models.

I have a wrench bought at NAPA. It has like 3 fingers that tighten against the filter. On my little 4010, it's about the only thing that you can get onto the filter. Have a chain wrench, but it's a royal pain to snake it up around the filter. The NAPA wrench works great.

I don't know why they don't put a hex head on the end of the filter casing. In the past, I've seen filters done this way on some cars.

If you mean the 3320 hydraulic filter, the cap is 4.5" in diameter. I got a large filter band wrench at VIP auto designed for Cummins/Detroit filters which worked. A standard oil filter wrench will not do it.

If you mean the 3320 oil filter, a standard oil filter wrench will do.

If you mean the one where you use a 1/2 drive to turn the square which is attached to the strap, then I suspect you will agree with me after using it, it's AWESOME. I picked that strap up at a Deere shop some 3-years ago, and it's one handy item.
