Thinking ahead. Will need to change my Hyd. and Hst. filters this spring. Gettiing sticker shock. $112.00 for the HST filter, $37.00 for the Hyd. (Nolts) , wow! Any other sites out there that have better prices?

Can't help, but feel your pain. Purchased spare fuel filters for my new Massey, it takes 2, and they listed for about $100 each. The dealer felt bad and said he would sell them to me for his cost of about $70/each. Can't understand why they would be so expensive other than they know there are no alternatives yet so they soak you. Hope somebody can give you an alternative.

Just to put this in perspective, you bought a (not inexpensive) tractor that is propelled by its hydraulic system. Are you sure you want to put the cheapest filter you can find on it?

I always try to support my local Kioti dealer when buying filters/hydro.oil and parts.Supports both parties involved.

I went to my dealer yesterday to purchase an oil filter for my CK30 HST and got a surprise. On 11/13/2014 the filter cost $10.66, yesterday it cost $13.16, a 23.4% increase in three months. I would never consider trying to cross reference and not buy OEM for the tractor but a jump of 20+% in that short a time period is kind of steep. I guess Kioti knows that there is a lot of us out there that really take good care of our "babies" and can charge what they want.

Branded filters will always cost more because the factories that make them do small runs that require custom mixed paints and graphics. Your standard issue MANN filter from Autozone which costs about $15 will be roughly double (or more) when you buy it from Herr Mercedes. Same exact thing under the skin, but it says Mercedes-Benz on it.
Kioti doing same thing. Yes you can cross reference. Without a doubt there is a Wix equivalent, which may or may not be lower cost to you.
Right now there is a huge dockworker strike out west, if you weren't aware. Anything coming across the pacific is getting bottled up in port, so yeah those filters are getting spendy.

My engine filter is the same one used on a Hustler ztr mower and the filter from LS is almost double the cost. It might pay to look at if the filter is available from other manufacturers. That will not mean that the filter substitute is necessarily inferior as there are not that many manufacturers in the world. Wix Donaldson probably makes most of the filters anyway why pay the extra?

I have a question if we buy a new $25,000-$35,000 tractor why do we worry about the price we pay for filters? IMHO if you have $25,000-$35,000 grand to spend on a new tractor you should be able to afford $40-$112 filters.

The thread made me look up the prices of the filters I just bought. Inner air filter - $12.50, Outer air filter - $22.65, Engine oil filter - $15.50, Hydraulic oil filters(2) - $17.80 each, Fuel filter - $21.75 Actually that's not too bad.

I buy all my oils & filters from the local dealership - guarantees correct fit and type.

I purchased two sets of filters for everything and after noticing the $800 bill on my Visa, I decided that the third set will be from Donaldson directly where my sister works as a process engineer (she designs and builds the assembly lines that make the filters) which are about 1/3rd the cost and very likely who Kioti is contracting out to in the first place.

My filters cost me $87.98 before tax and shipping (dealer is two hours away, one way) in October 2012. The same filters (fuel, oil and hydraulic including hst filter) cost me $89.99 on December 1,2014. I am not complaining, they could all cost me the $45.50 that the hydraulic filter costs and I would still pay it.
