I recently bought a 302 with a 232 hoe. The three point hitch is still on the tractor along with pro. My question is how do you turn on the hydraulics for the hitch? You can move the lever for the hitch but it doesn't move. Also right behind the pto lever there is a pedal with a rachet deal on it. What is this?

Is there a valve under the seat mounted on the top cover housing, like a diverter valve? I didn't think the 302 used it but it might have been added after, maybe to divert fluid to the backhoe?
Many older machines like that with a backhoe installed, the 3pt was never used and the internals are stuck & need to be messed with.
That machine has hydraulic brakes correct? I think that pedal was a "steering pedal". Used to manually lock the brakes individually.
