Ferguson to30 starter

My starter on my to30 needs new brushes some are broken. See picture.
Does anybody have an idea where you van buy them?

I assume you've checked Ferguson TO-30 Parts - Yesterday's Tractors ? I don't see brushes listed on there but might be worth giving them a call anyway.

Take it to a good automotive electrician - he should be able to supply suitable brushes, and ask him to spot-weld the braided cables onto the conductor strips for you. I've done this on several starters for various engines. Don't try to solder them - they carry a considerable current and will probably get too hot. Then you just need to reassemble it. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the input Found some r37 on eBay will try that first, I have the habit to always try to fix it myself before getting others involved. By the way, the little screw attaches the brush which has an hole, and braided cable to the spring part at the same time.
