Screws? Again.. your choice.. but I don't know of many people screwing fence boards... -everybody- around here nails them.

Yep, we've used 8d hardened screw shanks forever. Some folks call them "pole barn nails". The 40 or 60d ones will flat wear you out.

50lbs run about $225 or so, but great stuff; can't pull one out.
