Wow.. I don't envy you 1 bit..
I think the 1st thing u need to invest in is.. a big sledge & an anvil.. prob. a lot of bent blades over there.??
Good luck with that project.. I think your gonna need it??

I must say - whatever you are doing there Agvg - it is working. Nice crop of young ones coming on.

My grandparents farm - Gudbrandsdalen Valley - looks like your pictures - in many places. Ufda

My grandparents farm - Gudbrandsdalen Valley - looks like your pictures - in many places. Ufda
Drove through Gudbrandsdalen a few weeks ago, a very nice landscape.

I have never been to Norway - just MANY pictures of grandparents farm. Some of the pictures look like post #4. Makes my whole body ache to think of all the time it must have taken to clear the fields. Grandparents farm dates back to VERY early days - many, many generations of young adults to help clear the fields. The farm finally purchased some type of tractor around 1965 to help with the farm. Prior to that it was manual labor and oxen or whatever. The original ways worked for so many generations and a tractor can be a tremendous expense on a farm.

I think it is also - some of the new, modern way simply do not adapt to rural farming types.

Yes, many of those small farms where slow to get tractors, the first tractor here came 1972, my grandfather liked horses and he hired one of the neighbors to do tractor work, and to day it's still the first and sofare the last tractor here :)IMG_20181015_102715.jpeg
