FEL Tube Cap or Large B series / LX Tractors?

While the FEL tubes on the large B series and new LX models are certainly much smaller than the Standard L tractors, I'm wondering if anyone has found caps that will work. I'm hopeful that I can at least store some chains in them. Has anyone done that? thanks

I've seen some other TBN Members use a length of PVC pipe for this purpose.

Hopefully someone will 'chime in' with a reference.

Yes, with a cap. The FEL tube is small, but I'm thinking I can get perhaps 10' of chain in each side. IDK. thanks

1/4" chain, maybe.

ID of tube on LX is about 2 1/2".

I realize the tube is small, I'd rather have (2) 8' lengths of chain (not 1/4") than no chain. For my application, I would know in advance if I need chain and would throw it in the bucket, would jut like to store some additional on the tractor.

^^ those are not what folks here use to cap PVC tubes in order to hold chains, etc. in FEL tubes. This is an example, I'm looking for someone who has done with on a large B series of new LX
