OK Gents... I have a Branson 3520, and I wish to disconnect the QC from the curl operation, and hook up my wood splitter.

Here is the pic of the 3/8 QC on the tractor:

So I bought Pioneer 3/8 QC's and guess what.... they are not the correct size.
If you should happen to know the part number I need to buy to make this connection I would be most grateful.

Here is a comparison of the Branson 3/8 QC and the Pioneer 3/8 QC:

What is the difference in the male tips? You are showing two female tips which appear similar enough to accept the same male tip to me.

Did you try relieving the pressure before attempting to hook up by shutting off tractor and cycling the joystick?

The diameter of the female fitting on the right is considerably larger than the fitting on the left.
Large enough that the fitting will not engage on the male part - not at all....
No pressure issue, the fitting on the Branson says 3/8 - the one from Pioneer says 3/8 and they don't engage.

I suspect one is an ISO "A" and one is ISO "B", please post a pic of the male tips, and any other numbers on them.

Sure would be nice if 3/8ths meant 3/8ths. I now have over 100 miles tied up in getting my wood splitter running.

Looks like one is ISO A and one is ISO B. They are both 3/8 it's just that there are 4 standards. You need to get the correct one.
This is the best little PDF document that I have ever found when it comes to identifying hydraulic couplings.

Sir than you for the information.

Now - do you have a great web site to buy the fittings from as what you see pictured is all my local TSC carries, and the Kubota place close to me is basically like "oh it's not for a Kubota... sorry we are busy"

Thanks

In my opinion it looks like the connector on your Branson is this:

ISO 7241-1 Series A

600 Series Hydraulic

Interchanges with:
• Aeroquip FD56 (5600) Series
• Faster ANV Series
• Hansen HA15000 Series
• Parker 6600 Series
• Safeway S56 Series

It it ain't right you can blame me. or you can check them yourself against the chart. One thing you know for sure they are not 3/8 AG's.

You can get them here:

Ya, it seems the Kubota guys are only available to work on Kubota and nothing else, they won't help you unless you have a Kubota purchased from them. Every Kubota dealer I have delt with is like this. Don't know why.
Also checked with Branson quick coupler and they are about $14 per coupler. If it's something you want PM me and I can get one to you.
Thanks

Wild Bill, and K0ua

That PDF is about the best thing since sliced bread when looking at QC fittings. - I huge thanks to you both.
I have ordered from discount Hydraulics, each connector was $11, and dust caps were less than $3 + $9 in shipping.
