FEL Question for New Owner

looked for bunch of massey scuts as well as MF1532 (uses larger L100 same manufacturer) and no luck. prob due to age of those items.
fwiw massey scuts are GC series.
a massey ferguson (MF)2400 is a zero turn mower.
Well, why wouldn't you want a FEL on that zeroturn? :)

I am in no hurry really. Just want to know what direction to be working towards. On another forum, a guy mentioned a compact/sub compact tractor salvage yard in maybe Kentucky? Doe anyone know of a place like this? It wouldn't bother me one bit to get a loader of a fire tractor, or something like that, and put a little work into the loader.

The conventional wisdom here is the cheapest way to add an FEL to a tractor is to sell the tractor you have now and buy a new tractor with an factory FEL installed. You may not like the answer, but there it is.
I have heard that wisdom but found it not to be true in my case. When I bought my Kubota four years ago I didn’t get a loader. I have one on order now and the price is a few hundred more (inflation) than 2018. I did miss out on a 15% discount by not buying it initially. Investment returns has covered that and then some. Plus $80 for dealer transportation but I suspect I can get that waived. Messick’s has a video on this subject but they may be a wee little biased.
