FEL problem

I have a B7510 with a 302 Front End Loader. I put the FEL on today, but it will not move up and down. The bucket rotates just fine, but the loader itself seems to be stuck where it is. Any suggestions as to what may be causing this problem and how to correct it will be appreciated.

1st of all do you hear it straining like fluid is trying to move or is it quiet?
How long has it been sitting? Air in the system maybe?
Pop off one of the connections and push it on the ground or in the bottom of a bucket and see if ya get fluid moving by having someone actuate the controller.

Check the safety lock if you have one.

Switch the connectors and see if the up and down works and see if the problem reverses.

Also check your quick connect fittings to make sure they are on all the way and on the right ports. You may also have air in the system that will bleed out moving it up and down.

Check all of your quick connect fittings. You will one that isn't completely connected. It may look like it is, but it won't be. For any kind of hydraulic problem on a tractor, this is always the first thing to check.

Thanks to everyone who provided suggestions. One of the four lines that hooks the FEL to the tractor had pressure in it that was keeping it from locking in place. With the help of a good neighbor, we were able to bleed the fluid from that line. The FEL works fine now. That was essential since I plan to list this tractor for sale this week. Thanks again to all!
