FEL problem on my JD. Need help

When I go to dump the bucket on my JD 4700 460 loader the lever sticks to the dump position and does not return to the middle"neutral". So the bucket continues to dump unless I move the lever back to the middle. Any idea why this is doing this??? When I go to raise or lower the bucket etc. And let go of the control it springs right back to the middle with no problem Thanks for the help in advance

Have you tried to lubricate all the linkages between the joystick and the valve? That is the most common problem with what you describe. Fluid Film works great for this since it last's a LONG time.

Could the up/down and curl/dump functions have been swapped so that you are actually "stuck" in a FEL float position?
