I don't know what temp the control body is to be at but after mowing for a few hrs the bucket control is very hard, the valve body temp is about 145* and it's 85* outside.

Did you wind up servicing or replacing any of the control valves?

No not yet.
Kind of skidish spending $600.00 for the control valve. But there isn't much else it could be.

No rebuilt kit but ya can buy all the parts individually, except the spools I think they are called.
I did order the control valve though.

Have you investigated hyd supply businesses such as Surplus Center or Bailey hyd's for a complete FEL control valve? JD outsources it's hyd control valves & certainly doesn't manufacture the valves.

Ok I purchased a new bucket control.
Hopefully putting it in one day this week.
Does anyone know the torque for the bolts would be?
Or where I could find info, where I bought it was useless.

Perhaps try calling a few dealers and maybe they can help you. Or maybe even post some pictures of the control valves with some identifiers and someone here might know.

There may be issues with the internals of the spool/control valves. Internal springs may have failed depending on how it is constructed. I believe you did mention one of the valves not returning to center position. Might have to take the control valves to a specialist unless you are willing to tackle yourself...? How many hours do you have on the machine?

It was to the point that after about 5 minutes the handle is hard to move and has toi be moves back to center.

Bought the new bucket control about 6 months ago and now have to install it.
Can anyone give me the bolt tightening pattern and the torque I would be thankful.
