The other night, I was pushing for time and had to park the tractor in my carport instead of it's normal trip to the barn. In order to get it under all the way, I had to raise the loader bucket over a few things. I just left it there like that, but the next morning, it had settled and was sitting on top. Nothing that would be hurt, I just wasn't expecting it would settle like that. Christmas day when I parked it back in it's spot, I purposely left it off the ground a few inches just to double check, and sure enough, yesterday morning it was back on the ground. Is this normal? I was expecting it to hold position....but if it's normal for it to ease back down no big deal. But if it's not normal, I need to get in touch with the dealer about getting it checked out.
I've never had a front end loader before, I know on any other tractor I've had, if the 3 pt didn't hold position it meant a back seal or something else in the hydraulic system
