FEL hydraulics on a Kama 354C

I am considering buying a FEL for my TS354C or building one. There are no rear remotes so how does the hydraulics hook up? and what size shaft hydraulic cylinders would work the best with this tractors hydraulic output?

If you can afford one get a koyker. Well worth the money. I'v got the 160 with 2" cylinders and 5' bucket on my 354C.
The loader valve will be in series with the lift box. In other words, break the pressure side out of the pump and tap in there, out to the loader valve in, then loader valve out back to the other side of the hose you just broke. You may already have a quick connect on the high pressure side of the pump then all you need is a matching pair for the loader valve.

I would be happy to quote a Koyker loader shipped direct to you. You need to check to see what pump your tractor was equipped with. if you cannot read the label, measure the length of the center portion of the pump or overall length and I can compare. the standard pump is only a 308, pretty slow with FEL. I can offer a larger pump, or you can get by with the 1.75" cylinders. We have put many dozen of these on and can also answer any questions when you get your loader. there will be instructions included, but not always easy to understand the first time you do it. you can email me at sales@artrac.com if you would like a quote.

Ok thanks guys. I will check my pump tommorow for any numbers. When you say a 2" or 1.75" are you talking about the hydraulic cylinder or the rod? I have been looking at cylinders in the Northern catalog.

Check with Surplus Center. You can call them and talk with a real person or you can just order thru the catalog or internet. They have a special section in the catalog for loader cylinders. They will be cheaper than Northern.

Ok thanks.I have heard of Surplus Center on the boards here and will indeed check it out. Chip, on my pump the tag reads CBN-E314 and there are two boxes under that, that are stamped 42 and the other 045. Maybe you can identify my pump.

At 2000 RPM the CBN-E314 (14 ml/rev) should put out 28 liters/min or 7.4 gpm. It should do fine with 2" cylinders.

Edit: The Koyker 160 with 2" cylinders is rated for a 5 second lift at 8GPM. 7.4GPM will increase that time to 5.4 seconds.

So I guess mine does have one of the better pumps that are available. How is the loader plumbed into the rear hydraulics and what pieces do I need to make that connection? I live in Wilkes Brad, not too far from you.

The high pressure line from the pump to the rear hydraulics flows through the loader valve. If you buy a new loader for your model it should come with everything you need. Check with the dealer to make sure.

Does anyone know what the largest pump is that will fit on a TS354C ? I have a 314 pump and I seem to recall Chip saying you could buy a larger one if needed.
