FEL Hoses wearing spot ?

There was nothing wrong with what I described and how hoses should be installed for any hydraulic piping system.

The fact that that snakes nest is there is ample proof of the quality of workmanship involving the front end loader.

They simply cheaped out did not follow the industry standards for properly
installing and measuring "a" hydraulic hose for the proper lengthand the mounting fittings on the boom arms to prevent hose damage when the boom is raised and the bucket fully dropped.

The single hose protector for the four individual hoses was proof of that in this instance as all four of the hoses are wearing against each other when the boom is raised and lowered.

A lot of mechanics and individuals die from fluid power injuries and carelessness needlessly every year just like people who change split and repair split rim tires with no training or knowledge regarding the inspecting of the rims or the tires for damage or overinflation of both tubeless and tube type tires

Edit: USTA - sorry, missed your pics or would not have double posted -

No such thing as too many pictures.

Upon looking further at the OP photos, it looks like the hoses are the right length and bundled correctly. There is a normal size loop in the hoses, it is just in the wrong location. It looks like the hoses were twisted when installed which put the slack loop too low and allowing the top to swing under the loader arm. I don't believe it is a "Kubota" fault or an issue of a bad design. The problem is in who installed the loader. My guess is probably the dealer installed it wrong.
It looks like a cheap fix and no question should be covered under warranty due to dealer error.
Any hose that is the least bit scuffed MUST be replaced.

Like I stated earlier, my BX2660 has over 250 hours on it with out even a scratch on the hoses and over 200 hours were from loader work in the dirt.

As closure to this thread.
I removed the hose, brought it to the dealer with pictures including picture from internet of how the hose should be routed.
They made me up a new hose free of charge, I installed and twisted all the other three hoses while I had them slack and got the whole bundle to sit in a nice S shape they way they should ,away from the FEL arm (not underneath.)

So it all worked out and kudos to my dealer here in Northern Ontario. Northshore Tractors.

Thanks everyone ! now I just got to wait for the ground to dry up and I can start using my BX42 woodchipper .

I am glad for your sake they saw
the problem and fixed it for you
at no charge.

I am all for using fluid power but
any plumbing mistake can be deadly
with an exposed operators compartment.

We blew a lot of dump cylinder hoses on mine
scoops, and we ended up using compressed air
whipstops to restrain the hoses on the digging cylinders.
