Any one have a front end loader on there 3110. If so has any one ever tried to pick up round bells with it. I am thinking of putting a front end loader on .Danny has a good price on them.

Gizmo you are so funny. it is funny how our fingers and our minds do not cooperate sometimes and it is not flagged because it IS a word, just not what he wanted!!

He meant, I believe, whether the fel could pick up round BALES.

500 lb bales would be OK. 1000 lb would be questionable. Especially if moving them very far.

I have a Koyker 160 on the front of my YM 3000, the same FEL that is sized to your 3110. I've lifted 1200lbs. with the front end blocked, but a lift over 1000 lbs. would be something you wouldn't want to drive the tractor with. You have a little more weight than I do, but the weak link here seams to be the tires. Tires flaten out ( with 35 psi ) with that much weight. Load I lifted off a pick up, had to block the front end of the tractor, lift, and drive the truck from under the load, move load directly to the ground. They make a "bale spear" for the 3 point for this job but you might have to much weight on the 3 point with a 1000 lb. round bale. Odds are if you want to lift 1 bale, you most likely want to do this regularly. If that is the case, think you should look for a larger machine or use smaller bales. Not worth takeing the chance.

I have a YM330d with a loader that we use for round bales on the 3 point. It can handle a 1000 bale pretty well. If the bale is much heavier, I have to put extra weight in the bucket.

The MF 283 burns so much fuel . I try to use the smallest tractor I can for the job. Last year I got diesel fuel at 172 for off road . now it is over 3.00 $ a gal. with diesel and Fertilizer I will have more in hay then I can make off it.
