Fil-Rite makes quality pumps. You should get years of service out of that one.
I totally agree, but that poc they call a meter is the absolute worst item they make. Bought one for our unleaded tank - momma wanted to know how much she was putting in. Works okay at full gpm (on a 15gpm pump), not so much at much less than full and doesn't register at slow flow rates. Thing is rated (per their specs) @ 1-15gpm. Sent it back for warranty repair and Fillrite said nothing was wrong with it, I just needed to allow for more flow rate.

That's good to know. I've been looking at other meters that are small, inline, and digital... I think the last one I looked at was a GPI meter. I can estimate the fuel coming out of my transfer tank, but I'm frequently off by 5 gallons or so.

Thanks for the ideas. Sorry for the super delayed response. For now I'm just using a 5 gal can with the spout on the bottom. I'll probably set up a large tank with pump later but for now this is saving me a lot of pain.

Harbor Freight (in-store only) for $12 currently. I have used this for a couple of years to fill zero turn, and Ranger from 5 gal cans.

+1 for this little pump from HF. Been using these for a couple of years, even gave my brother one they work so well. I lift my 5 gal can up to the step on my backhoe so the hose will reach the tank behind my seat and pump away. Empties 5 gal can in just a couple of minutes. I catch them on sale and recently picked up a spare at HF for $7. First one lasted me two years, threw it away, grabbed the spare, and was back in business. I’ll continue using these cheap little pumps as long as they keep selling them! 😊

I’ve had a 275 gallon diesel tank for years to fuel my tractor.
My shoulders are extremely weak from injuries and handling 5 gallon containers of gasoline was difficult.
I had a Scag STHM that I really liked but sold it because of refueling difficulties and the overall beating I took riding operating it. 2 years ago I bought a Kubota ZD1211 so I could pull up to the garage door to fuel it up.
I have 4 acres and did the lawn in 3 separate mowings.
Now I mow the entire lawn in 4 hours non stop.

looks like a good choice, like the power supply better than D batteries. power cord is 5', easily extended or replaced. good call on your part. i went ahead & got the model w/nozzle & hoses, etc.
