JD 4200
I have been reading TBN for several months and finally decided to join. I have really seen a lot of cool stuff on this forum thus far. I live in North Central Texas, up the road from Dallas, and have been on tractors since I was 3 years old. I have a JD 4200 (FEL) and have recently inherited a B John Deere, a 60 John Deere, and an 8N Ford with a number of old worn out implements. I look forward to picking everyones brain, as I have decided to build some of my own attachments for the 4200.

Welcome! Even though I was Navy, on the aviation side we all trained together.....the Marines just had to learn to drive a tank before they could learn to drive an airplane. I'm envious of your JD B. They're great "old iron"!

Hey I was Marine Corps Aviation, so we are not that far apart. The "B" was a good old tractor in its day, but it has been sitting for years. It is still a solid tractor, but I fear it would cost a fortune to bring it back to its full glory.

Semper Fi!

Glad to have you join us. We must almost be neighbors since I'm also just north of Dallas, or about a mile south of Denton.
