I have a DK 35 TLB (gear) bought in 2006 and it runs pretty good. It has had a tough life due to my in-experience and the required work I need doing, (reclaiming a farm after 8-10 yrs neglect). In addition to FEL and BH, use it for bush-hogging,snow blowing, stone forking, discing and harrowing.
Had some teething pains at first, most are covered off in posts by others (battery terminals and some hyd seals comes to mind) and some small recurring issues (Ignition key switch problems, self-loosening hardware).
Engine runs very well, strong machine pretty well built and does what it says it will do and more.
To do over, would have got second hyd remote plumbed to both front and rear (my next project when funds are available), to run things like a grapple and snowblower with both roatation and deflector adjust. Sadly, this was as much machine as I could afford at the time, would have liked to get the DK45 version.
Backhoe sub frame limits ground clearance so use in mud and in woods can be a challange.
Excellent service from dealer in Alexandria, Ontario.
