Fed up with the garden

Our Blueberries have about did their do for the season. With some of the plants reaching 11 feet it was use the ladder.

I hear there is something called "pruning". Can't say I know much about it though......
I had blueberries on my breakfast this morning. Ummm Good!

Speaking of Blueberries, yesterday my bride made Blueberrie upside down coffee cake!
Too good for words!!!
That is one serving for two of us!

I have attempted to thin them out but that just makes them produce more suckers.
If you top them production suffers.
Don’t know the variety but they were ordered from a magazine ad years ago and were suppose to be 5 different low bush varieties that grew to about 5 feet.
Usually there are so many berries what the birds eat doesn’t matter.
Everyone around here that grows the earlier maturing low bush varieties has a hard time with the birds.

When my wife makes deserts somehow they disappear within a day!
