Hi all -

This seems like the logical forum for this question.

I want to be able to put url's into my posts that point to pictures. I'm a little sleep-deprived today, but is the only way to do that to upload the pictures so they're located on the web somewhere? And if so, that brings me to the question in the topic - any favorite sites?

Thanks, John D.

John, look up near the top of the page where it says HOME \ DISUSSIONS \ PHOTOS \ REVIEWS \ CLASSIFIEDS \ DEALERS \ STORE \ and click on PHOTOS and you can create your own photo gallery if its stuff related to TBN and then use url links to it when you want to. Here is mine.

Bird -

Well it was worth asking such a bone-headed question to get to see your shop! Wow, that is some very serious organization. Hats off to you! Just PLEASE tell me you cleaned it up a LITTLE before you took the pictures, or I'll be very discouraged. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I love the post-and-beam style with the metal siding; I don't recall seeing that very much up here in Yankee territory, but maybe I'm not paying enough attention.

Anyway, thanks for the tip and the tour - the "photo" area will do the trick nicely!

One last question - what would I do without you? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Have a great time this weekend Bird -

John, that's the nice thing about photo software; it makes everything look cleaner and brighter than it actually is. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I've tried several, and my favorite is FlickR...

Lots of neat features, and your photos are automatically resized/compressed and made available in several sizes, so you can just pick the size you want to use.

You can group your photos into sets (i.e. albums), and also make them available to larger groups. You can add keywords for searching, etc. You can even draw "hotspot boxes" on a larger picture and put explanatory notes on them...

Nice program with lots of features...

I can tell you who NOT to use. Yahoo.

I paid for their photo album service so Icould share pics with friends and family. It worked great until they updated their software one day.

All my photo's disapeared.

When I was able to finally get a reply to the problem, their response was to just repost my pics.

Thanks all, great stuff, I'll check those sites out.

Eddie, sounds like you just answered the question "Do you Yahoo?" with an emphatic "No"! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif (And hey, get back to work you slacker! Lakes don't build themselves ya know! ) /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Happy holidays everyone - may all your days be merry and bright (and your photos, too!), and may all your Christmases be white! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Kodak promises to keep your photos for life. It is very easy to use and is dramatically increasing in popularity:

Looks like the Kodak site is great. Will use as a backup for my hard drive.
