I guess I have to look back and say I partially agree with azzxx. I don't think dealers ARE as big a deal as many say they are. azzxx likes to buy the best equipment. Where I think azzxx has gone wrong is he falsly believes green (or even a tractor from the big 3) is the best tractor in every category for every person.

Simply not true and not even true from person to person. I say let people spend their hard earned money on inferior product. And before people get bent out of shape, let me qualify that statement. A big 3 tractor (or any tractor) may be best in a particular comparison. If that particular item is high on your list in what you want or need in a tractor, but you limit yourself to big three, you may VERY well be getting an inferior product for something that means alot to you.

I think we can agree on those points. No one tractor brand is the best in all situations, no one tractor is best in all situations. I limit my brands to the brands available in my area from quality dealers. And the quality dealers represent some of the minor brands. Blind brand loyalty is pointless.

Some of the arguements in this thread seem to be EITHER/OR and I think there is a lot more middle ground. That was my real point.

I don't think I ever said you couldn't have it both ways. I feel like I got the best of both worlds by buying a Kioti from an excellent dealership - similar to your comparison to buying a Branson from your NH dealer. I just get chagrinned by the "It's a Big 3 tractor or it's not a tractor" crowd..
