Yep, "The Rebel" starred Nick Adams as Johnny Yuma <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.womenwritersblock.com/ourfavwest7.htm>The Rebel</A>. He carried a sawed off shotgun.

Branded was great - I can still remember the theme song or at least the somewhat sillier version of it. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Does anyone remember the show :Mr.Terrific?A little super hero guy that had 3 pills he took for his "superhuman strength"it was a comedy type show.

OK here is the Chuck Connors trivia answer. While a Boston Celtic, Connors was the first player in professional basketball to break a backboard.

He didn't "shatter" it, however. He "splintered" it. Backboards were still made of wood back then. He did it in warmups before a game against Chicago causing the tipoff to be delayed an hour.

Interestingly, neither the Celtics nor the Bulls won that game. The winning team was the Chicago STAGS.

Now for something more current. What NBA player who retired a just a year ago was named after Connors?
