Father's Day Projects?

What did you do on Father's Day? I had a little Lilac bush planting project going on....the planting was actually a living tribute to the recent passing of a family member.

Now I have to decide on what to buy with that Sears gift card the boys got the "Old Man" for Father's Day?

It was a logging day for me.

I made an attempt to put the finishing touches on a new cement porch, the 'project from yell' - my daughter yelled at me "it's Father's Day, you're NOT SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING"

Spent the weekend stringing wire for my pasture, (OHH the joys of fencing) . Nice to see the horses eating fresh grass vs. paying for hay.

Sprayed the fruit trees with my new TSC spot sprayer (a Father's Day present I bought for myself ),finished some mowing, sharpened the tree pruner then used the chipper on some shade tree limbs that needed to be removed. Oh yeah- my wife and son managed to let me cook them breakfast and supper

My sons showed up with materials to build a replacement for my sagging steel storage shed, and we all worked on that. Had a great time!
