lets get back on track here with sensible comments and the latest from Montana who are apparantly in the drivers seat. My ex FT dealer says there is a meeting next week in Tarboro. Can anyone comment intelligently on the reasons/agenda Montana gives for the meeting. Or is it just a rumor.

Thanks and we FT owners would appreaciate any sensible comments

Jim

Jim,
I could not agree with you more.

Yes on Jan 22 Montana is having a meeting in Raleigh-Durham with the "former Farmtrac" dealers to talk about Montana and their goals for the future and also to talk about the Farmtrac dealers signing on to become Montana dealers. For dealers that are not able to attend the meeting, Montana said that we will be given DVD's of the meeting. Other than that, not much is being said about it. Do not know what kind of turn out is expected. Not much info is being given out other than the location of the meeting which is scheduled to last about 3 hours.

PS: I cannot wait for LS Mtron to be here in the USA full time and open for business.....which will be very soon I am told!

just trying to keep the information flowing----sorry that my comments are not sensible or intelligent-----many people are affected by this mess----none of this makes any sense----How can this happen in America and it be legal---alot of other people read this thread----just want them to know what is going on----

P.S. reread this whole thread and see if any of this makes any sense!!!
Also if you want Montana information go to the Montana Forum and paint your tractor green!!!----This is the other Tractor Forum-----Some FarmTrac Dealers are Montana Dealers---that is the Forum for them----others as you well stated are just EX-FarmTrac Dealers-----THEY ARE NOT MONTANA DEALERS!!!!!! this forum is for that information!!!!

Some serious thoughts.
Montana a company selling LS products will be selling LS products against LS which is rumoured of coming direct.
Farmtrac dealers will have a better time as both Montana and LS will need them. Now the decision will have to be taken about which company has a better future.

I'm not in this situation, but if I was that's something I would be VERY concerned about. I don't think there is any question that we're going to see more of the small tractor companies exiting this business. As a dealer, if you where burned by this why on earth what you jump back on the same ship? It takes a whole organization of people to pull off the scam that happened, and I can't imagine that many of them aren't still around. I'd be signing up with TYM, Cub/Yanmar, Kioti, Mahindra...?
