no 2% for you!!
RNF -- You mean I get no hugs from the Evil Empire Finance Corp? Didn't plan on it!
After I finish with a few things, it's a hands-on favorite to get worse.

I will go to my grave believing firmly "treat people the way you want to be treated". If the tables were turned and I was a customer, I would hope that my dealer could work through the situation with me. The values that we have our shop, keep people coming back. We are thankful for that! We know that we have gone the distance for our customers-we can lay our head down at night and know WE DID THE RIGHT THING. How many involved in this mess can say that? And if I had a million dollars to bet you-I would bet that the leaders in this whole fiasco have not gone without a pay check since Jan! I hope they sleep well! Enough of the soap box-warranty work calls.

Kal:

Your pro-customer position is one of high integrity. There are still consumers who value that virtue. Hope every one of them finds your store and spends money copious bucks there.

Without being a dark cloud, it seems honor is a vaporous core value in today's business. University classes include "business ethics" in their curriculums. What a towering oxymoron; nice in theory, devoid in practicum.

To expect FNA, Escorts and TFCs exec to about-face into legitimate, righteous business persons after the previous multiple bludgeonings they've inflicted... Well... what's the likelihood of it? What's the motivation for change?

Even though the Farmtrac tractors may scare the customer they can help to keep the dealer going by purchasing parts and accessories from the dealer who is dedicated enough to sacrifice for the customer. Most Farmtrac dealers sell after market parts and accessories. Most major line tractor dealers also sell after market parts also but some of them charge major line prices for the after market part. I bought a part last week from a major line dealer in order to see what the part looked like from the major line. When the part arrived it was an after market part with a price (not including freight) of $8.39 after my dealer discount. The trouble is I sell the aftermarket part for $4.77. You can support the Farmtrac dealers who are trying to keep their Farmtrac tractor customers going by buying aftermarkrt parts and probably save money to boot. I won't guess whether it's fraud or not to sell aftermarket parts as major line parts-- we'll leave that to investigative reporters.

Longtrman,
You forgot to mention the significant time necessary to call around and find the part -- an all-out effort to serve the customer.

IF you think you have problems now go get yourself a major line and let them dictate everything to you and then try to pay your bills---- at least FarmTrac didn't charge you $4-%000 a month to have the sign out front. (They can call the fees what ever they want it is expensive every month)The tractor business is about making money----All those customers that you are doing all that work for free--- that will not fill out an official complaint ---what do you think they will do when you go out of business. They will drive down the street to the next tractor shop that charges a high price (in order to cover the big boys overhead) complain about how sorry you were to be "under capitalized" and how they didn't see how you could stay in business that long selling everything so "Cheap". (Give me that good deal but charge my neighbor enough to make a profit on both deals)The bottom line is no one really "Cares" if it ain't affecting them directly!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quit doing the warranty work for free---until someONE else steps up to the plate with money-- the manufacture is still in business send them a bill today and demand payment!!! You can not blame Textron for Escorts,Same and LG short comings. There is enough blame to go around. But quit working for free TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!! The customers will tell you that they appreciate it, but i challenge you to get two turkeys---prepare to raise them for Thanksgiving--- Feed one turkey corn and supplement and feed the other Turkey appreciation---see which one you will be eating on Thanksgiving Day!!!! A dead turkey ain't no good for no one except maybe TE----!!!!!!! An out of business turkey can not gobble (complain) so they think!!!!

Gustavo to the rescue-----Take all those tractors to the Gulf Coast and use them for evacuation vehicles. Sell'em to FEMA----- Like all those trailers in Hope ARK-----and now in DERIDDER Louisiana-----5000 and counting-----Must find the silver lining---good things MUST overcome bad planning---anyone see Brownie!!!!!! Did he go to work for Textron too?????

The US government about 10 years ago dumped some E6B prowler aircraft off the coast of NC for an artificial reef, also some old tanks. We should start another reef with blue tractors, and tell Textron where they are!

I have been getting more calls from governmental officials regarding my LTZ complaint. This is the biggest response so far. I was told the investigation on all fronts has begun. Textron will have to focus more time and energy on defending a legal position and not on their customers. I am sure they are banking on holding out longer then the LTZ people and the dealers can. This is surely what textron's lawyers are advising. What they are to slow to understand is that I talked with more dealers again today. Public opinion and the government investigation will cost them more in future sales than if they had just done the correct thing. There is a reason they keep asking the dealers to sign away their legal rights. How many textron employees will not have a job after they see how much this will really cost them?
Yes textron people, every time your company gets fined, sued or investigated someone gets fired. There has to be a scapegoat. Oh yes you have a long list of fines, suits and investigations. Most people in these complaint areas of the government know who Textron is, and I will help the list of people to grow.
WE HAVE PUBLIC OPINION ON OUR SIDE, THE RIGHT SIDE!
Please keep calling and better yet writing. Lets take them down not out of vengeance for their illegal acts but so that other dealers (Montana, McCormick, Cub) will not suffer from textrons wrongs!
Case
PS still very happy with my tractor & dealer!!!!

I have read every page and every entry on this subject but I am confused as to who to complain to. I bought my FT cash outright and had nothing to do with the LTZ payments but I am still losing warranty and I need the rear axle seals replaced which will now be at my cost. Face it ladies and gentlemen, this has become a very greedy world that we live in with some saying I'm going to get what I can get and get out no matter the consequences to others. Eventually, the greedy get what is coming to them and the rest of us can laugh at their ignorance and greed.
