Farmtrac 555DTC - Broken Draft Control housing on 3 point hitch

Was digging out a stump with the backhoe, and 鉄NAP! Then the backhoe leans forward. That didn稚 sound good. Found the housing under the seat for the Heavy/Light draft control on the 3 point hitch busted. Looking at the parts breakdown, it seems the draft yoke threads on to a rod which connects to the draft control. If you look in the parts manual for 555 in section 10:1 (Hydraulics), item 6 in that first drawing is the housing that shattered.

Before I tear into this project, has anyone had this happen to them and are there any other parts, tips or tricks I should know about before fixing this? Not much in the repair manual on this, other than how it works in different situations.

If you can get the yolk inscrewed looks straight forward. You got lucky. Our hoe come with solid brackets that bolt to the trumpets so the wight is not supported by the draft Control.

My yolk actually held on by a pin and cotter key. The whole top cover comes off with minimal fuss, but it is heavy if needed.
