Farmtrac 300 dtc how to reset hydraulic change light

light in upper rh corner one that looks like a gear other post and manual say this means replace hydraulic filter so got one from napa put on topped off light still on parts guy said probably need to do something to reset does any one know how

hmmmmmmm, I'm new at this, the only thing I could suggest is look at your owner's manual. Min is the li'l 535, but I plan on buying the maintenance manual in the near future. It's almost $200, I figure it might be worth it in the future when something like this comes up for me. Sorry I can't answer your question.

my light is only on when the oil is cold goes out after it warms up

Try disconnecting the battery.
