What a shared experience A father and son moment worth its weight in gold. Congrats I have a 53 My son and I will be using it to clean up the mini farm
Well its been a few months but Im back. I waited to purchase a battery since I couldn't do anything with it since my new barn was not ready. I have since been able to start it with the new battery. I have a mechanic going to take a look at it for me. In the mean time I have found my 3 pt hitch attachment, a boom. a hay cutting bar All these are fast hitch. Im getting ready to load them and transport them to my son in laws mini farm here in Lisbon. He will use the 5 foot brush hog I bought at an auction, (Its one that tractor supply sold). Did I say I have a 2 gang plough for tilling the ground. Now if only knew what they weighed so I could decide which to load on my trailor to keep it under a ton. Can anyone help me with that?
Just to be safe, figure 500 lbs each...some are more, some are less....the 2 pt hitch system would lift about 800 lbs or so (maybe more but you may blow a connection)...I've got a 230 Farmall (last edition of the C, SC, 200, 230 series) and have the 2 bottom fast hitch plow...that plow will go about 350 lbs or so ....but seems heavier to me...
