just wondering how much a Farmall cub is worth. I think we it is late 40's all fixed up and painted several years ago. has several implements.
My dad is thinking about selling his as he hasn't used it in a couple years

Growing up grandfather had a '49 with about every implement with it. I had a 1950.
My guess, depending on what goes with it, condition, etc. (Wild guess) maybe $3,000-$4,000 in good shape.
Dad (rip) sold granddad's and I sold mine about same time, about 1995 for $2,000 each.

You would never get 3 or $4,000 around here!

1,800 to $2,500 would be more like it, and it better be nice for the $2,500, or have a bunch of accessories to get above that.

You’re not too far from me. I’ve seen them go for $1,000 to $1,500 here in upper Midwest auctions. A lot depends on condition.

Paid 2k for this one with new short block and mower for tree farm.

Pulls a wagon and in hundreds of family pictures visiting during Christmas Tree Season…

Runs Sweet and couldn’t duplicate the work for the money.

Ultra runner. . . That is a beautiful tractor. Gotta be fun driving that.

I'd say $1800 to $2500 for an old style Cub in decent condition, running, and almost everything works.

They made a forest full of implements for them. The price could easily go to double that ($4000) if it included with a few choice implements - especially if it included the better 3pt hitch conversion.

You won't find a nicer small tractor for a garden type plot. 4 cylinder and 10HP!

IF only they were an OHV engine with a 4 speed trans, better yet a 4 speed with hi/lo... Truth is, for PTO work, they could use a few more HP too...

I like the Allis "G" for gardening better, but it could use a few more HP too, but at least you could get them with a 4 speed...

All true, but consider the cutenes factor....and the Vintage Americana factor. They don't come much better.
Or much better for teaching a kid about mechanical things - something that might again be valuable if our world keeps changing in the direction it appears to be going.

OK. Sure. I hear you on the Allis "G". A person really needs one of each.
And for pure high HP (12 hp), a John Deer "H" as well.
