what is everyones opinion on this tractor
how does it compare to others in this line?

Welcome Robert.
Actually there is an awfull lot of talk about your tractor here. Your farm pro 2425 is a re-badged Jinma 254/284. So if you look for those names here, you will find quite a lot of discussion on it It is one of the more common chinese models IMO, and one of the reasons I bought mine as it is present in plenty of numbers with a generally good overall impression from it's owners. It also has quite a number of dealers providing parts support for it. I have had mine for 3 years now, and I love it...

Once they have been serviced / preped they make great little tractors.

thanks for you help guys
i knew it was a jimma sorta but wasnt sure how
i hadf a case tractor for yrs and now own this tractor
i do like it for the most part but unhappy with some of the little things
i have 130 hrs on mune and had to replace the clutch
it was sorta my fault i guess
loaned it to my brother and he gotr the clutch really hot not treatimg it right
but even with that i thought ot would do better than that
1 lesson learned is never loan tractor


i hope to learn alot here and look foward to helping others

Has anyone come up with a coil spring type pressure plate to fit the Chinese Tractors.Seems like those Belleville washer pressure plates are very delicate and do not take alot of abuse from rookie tractor operators?
