Can anyone tell me which wires go where on the old type 3 wire voltage regulator? It has the ty290 engine.Thanks for any help

If your wiring harness is the same as my old ones were, wire #8 is the regulator input (from the alternator field post). Wire #7 is the regulator output (to the fuse panel). Wire #9 balances ground between regulator housing and the alternator ground post.
