Fall colors in Colorado

We've finally had some relief after several years of drought and the Aspens were spectacular this fall. While they may not compare with New England fall colors, I thought you might appreciate some photos from the high country...

In the past few drought years (prior to this one) we've had too many "fires on the mountain" and too close for comfort. For the sake of full disclosure, some of the pictures were mine (I use Olympus & Sony digital cameras), and some of the pictures were "borrowed" from the public domain. The pixs (taken recently) with buildings and of Maroon Bells (3 peaks with the lake nearby Aspen) were not mine. Beautiful nevertheless...
