Just few pics of fall at our little farm on the border. It's harvest time, so the combines are bringing in the soybeans. Meanwhile, my son is having senior pictures taken around the farm and on the border. In short, a perfect day just to relax and enjoy life.

Nice place you have! I could see myself hunting out there for sure..

How many times have you "jumped" the line to see if the swat team would show?:D I'd have to do it...because it's there:thumbsup:

Thanks! It is a popular place to hunt. Bear, deer, and various wild fowl abound.

We hike up to the "obelisk" at the border every time we have first time visitors... and sometimes just because. :p It's only a five minute walk from the house. Actually, as it happens, the Border Patrol was driving by today, so I flagged him down and stated we'd be doing a photo shoot on the border, just as a courtesy. He said, as long as we don't venture past the break and into Canadian woods, we're okay.

This isn't the Mexican border, so they're a bit more laid back up here.

Nice place. Looks very similar to norhern Maine. We're right on the Canadian border also. Only here it's a big ol' river. Poses more of a chalenge for smuglers. :)
Dan.
