Fair Price Cub Cadet Hydrostatic 149

Guy down the road has it out in the yard trying to sell it. Seems to be in average condition considering its age.

I seen a couple recently sell for about $700 on ebay. Don't recall if they were 149's or 127's, but I don't see how there could be that much difference.

BTW, I've got a 107 and a 73, along with a front blade and a snowblower attachment, and at least one of the tractors and the attachments are going up for sale soon (I hope!) /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

In my area, a Cub 149 in average condition would probably sell for $350- $400. Really nice ones hit the $700 level, but they would have almost no rust, lights work, good seat, no noises, etc.

Thanks for the replies, I am going to test drive it this afternoon. Anything particular to look out for on this tractor. I think the owner is trying to get around $600 for the Cub.

I am currently mowing my approx. 1 acre lawn with a 1994 MTD 17 hp/42" cut, it still works fine, thinking of buying the Cub for something to play with, they are nice looking small tractors.
