Going to look at a F935. Anything in particular I should watch out for?

Owner claims it's a 2001 with 436 hours on the engine in the ad. Haven't seen in person or talked to him so I don't know if he is saying engine hours or if he is saying the whole mower is that low.

I've owned several. Good mower and very simple to repair if needed. Some parts are becoming hard to source from John deere. One area to look at is the drive axles. The wheels are driven by a keyed shaft that can come lose and wear the shaft. Expensive repair and I'm not sure they are available anymore. Other than bushings in the steering components not too much else to look for.

Thanks for the response. I've decided to go another way. I am planning to sell my present zero turn and buy a finish mower to pull with my 855. My daughter has my old lawn tractor she isn't using so I will get that back for trim work.

I have a 5' homemade pull behind that works good on my lawn but doesn't do well in other areas I might need to start mowing.
