F535D parts

I have the chance to buy an F535D had a very good price. It's low hours and has a nice loader on it. The current owner describes it as having power to the front drive shaft into the front lift wheel but not to the right. I'm guessing a gear or something sheared off.

I've done quite a bit of googleing but not found much luck locating parts for that tractor.

Can anyone help with that? I've worked on several older YM tractors and owned an f-32. I've not owned any of the F _ _ _ (3 digit) tractors yet.

I'm thinking you have a rare one there. I guess you are confident the differential is not causing only the left wheel to turn and if so are you confident the left wheel is turning with power? Sounds strange to me. Have you done careful checking with front end jacked up, turning one tire and seeing what happens to the other, in and out of 4 wheel drive?

Winston1 I have not yet put hands on the tractor. It's quite a distance from me and right now I'm going on the info from the current owner. He said 2wd works fine, 4wd makes some noise and sends power to one front side but not the other. I did find a whole front end down south just in case. Apparently an F435 and F535 use the same front end parts. Owner is gone for vacation, I'm going to check her out when he gets back. Thanks for your response!

I have a complete F435 fwd axle. it some of the same gears & housing of the F535

The way the differential works on the 4 wheel drive only the wheel with the least resistance will turn. Noise is another issue. Sounds like some trouble shooting needs to be done.

Thank you Len! Getting a little gun shy about this tractor. I haven't yet laid eyes on it. The owner is away for a month on vacation. The more we chat about it the more concerned I am about it's rarity! Could be a great 50 horse tractor for $8,000. However I do plan to use it and sometimes that takes parts. I guess I will know more when I see it unless I find something else before then. I really appreciate all the great information this forum provides!
