Mowing F2400 mower deck ideas.

Hoping somebody can help me out with a mower deck problem. I have a F2400 with a 60" deck that is rusting out. I've been looking and can't seem to find a replacement in decent shape. Does anyone know if another model deck can be adapted to fit the F2400 (hopefully something newer)?

The lift system on the newer FXX60 series is different than that on the older FXX00 series otherwise a newer deck should work. have you talked to your local Kubota dealer about this? He should be able to offer a solution.

Depending on how much rust you have. You can have someone weld some thin plate steel on the deck. I've done this and it last for years. Just take it to a welding shop and see if it's weldable.

You do realize this question was from 2008, don't you? If he hasn't gotten it answered before now he's in trouble. Serious high grass trouble.
