Anyone ever replace the exhaust Manifold on a F series (2013)?

The book seems to imply it can be done without removing the cab... but it sure doesn't look fun...

I also found the clamp ring between the two halves of the turbo was completely loose and leaking exhaust...So if you have a ringing / jingling noise from under the passenger seat... might be worth pulling it out to take a look.

Is this a common issue that on these that often goes unnoticed, or am I just unlucky?

I did one a while back on a 2012. I think we put it on a lift, removed front wheel and were able to do it.
It’s a very common issue on Ford V-8’s to blow exhaust manifold gaskets or crack them, too. I replaced 3 or 4 of them in the 1995-2015 era.

The OP has a Bobcat Toolcat F series, not a F series Ford as you are implying.

Heh... you would have to have a pretty specially modified toolcat for it to get easier to do the exhaust by taking off the front tire :)

For a minute there I thought I posted in the wrong forum.

It's quite common for them to crack on the 03 series Kubotas, and that 07 series looks like a similar design. F series 5600 should be a V2607. I just did one on a D series with the V2003 engine. On the D series the cab needs to come off and the engine moved forward to get at the rear stud/nut. I tried to do it without removing the cab and it just wasn't possible.

I'm working on a 2014 now with the V2607, the exhaust manifold is cracked just like yours. Kubota has an updated manifold that is thicker in the middle section where they crack. The new part number is 1E831-12310. It looks like the Bobcat part has been upgraded as well, part number 7302481. If you put them side by side you can see an obvious difference in the shape of the middle section.
