EZ-Hitch vs Pat's Easy Change

I would like to install one of these products on my 4115 to ease the hook up pain. Any information concerning the pros and cons of each hitch would be helpful also how they would affect the 3pth arms if any at all. I do like the fact that the Carter and Sons EZ-Hitch doesn't extend the arms, I also think by sitting on top of the arms you may get more hight. Thanks Larry

I got the Carter and Sons system. I really like it. For me the tension bar would be helpful to hold the rear arms steady.

I have the Pats EZ change and love it.. It makes changing implements a breeze..

the pros are straight forward - a) no more trying to wrangle the 3 pt arms wide enough to go over the implement pins.. Just spread the arms and hold in place with the available spreader bar (a must in my opinion), back up and raise the 3 pt when in position.. b) very quick implement changes c) no more backing up and then having to man handle the implement to get it connected.

the Cons of Pats is that some implements may have clearance problems (ie the pins are situationed so that it is hard to have clearance)..

I have the EZ-Hitch and it works as advertised. I haven't used any Colorful Metaphors while hooking up implements since I got it.


I don't think you can go wrong with either product. I just didn't want to have to possibly mess around with my PTO shaft lengths so I got the EZ-Hitch.
