Extreme trail blazing

I always enjoy Clearing and opening trials on the family property. However, this past spring we needed approximately 10 acres of hedgerow and trails cleaned up to facilitate the installation of a haul road for logging purposes. 10 acres is far more than my father and I wished to pursue with the BX2200. So we ratched up the trial blazing efforts and hired a Brontosaurus to do the clearing. ~10 acres of clearing in ~33 hours of operation time. Take a look. 10" DBH softwoods and 8" DBH hardwoods didn't have a chance. Nothing but stump right at grade and whole lot of chippings and mulch.

You may wanna make sure you leave those smooth ones with no branches, and the black "vines" running from tree to tree, like just to the right of the bucket in your picture.

Some folks get excited when you knock 'em down. They even put anchor wires on 'em to make it harder.
