I'll be the first, what an awesome show! When you look at these shows, makeovers, and what have you, when homes are 350K, then you see a show that does this much good for a family, well pass the Kleenex.

Yeah, that was a good show, but I think the "making of" tomorrow night might be more interesting, if a bit less emotional.

Some good press for Massey. Nice tractors. I thought they should have used a couple of those big Masseys to pull the house down instead of those silly tractorpull tractors.

Cudo's to the good people of Bakersfield, Ca, the fellow farmers, the corporations, small businesses and all involved in the Elcano family farm project. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Yep, Extreme Home Makeover tonight sure is a good lead into,
"How'd they do that." Tomorrow (Monday) evening.

The "how" is going to be very interesting. I do hope that the family is able to operate all that equipment and stay in the business. I am interested also in how you have a hay operation on 20 acres. At first thought that seems kind of small, but then I dont know much about hay farming. Randy Travis was also a nice touch.

It was kind of funny to see all that power and not able to pull the house down. That old farmhouse had a better frame than the covering for sure.

On that tractor note, does ORANGE not grow in California..........would have loved to see even a Kubota lawn tractor on the place.............

There's Kubota's all over the place, even in my tractor shed. I have not seen so many in the big HP range though.

I didn't see the original show on Sunday night, but I did catch the "making of" last night. The show really did some nice things for Elcano family. Those kids will definately have smiles on their faces while playing in that fancy back yard.
