Extras to get with purchase

A while back I saw thread that gave a list of the little "extras" to request from the dealer when you make your tractor purchase. The one I remember was an extra owner's manual so you could keep one in clean condition, and the other could be used daily. I can't seem to find that thread. Can anyone help?

Sorry but I had not seen that thread.

I was going to recommend requesting the parts manual and service manual on CD. Then you just print what you need and take that to the shop and destroy only that printout.

Mike is spot on, get the CD.

The biggest 'extra' that I got was the understanding if something little happened in Warrranty - that they would send me the parts rather than having to transport the tractor. I got several care packages during warranty. They always came with the service pages and werre far easier done by me than hauling the tractor!

Not sure about the thread you reference, but in my case I got an extra that I didn't ask for. I had the dealer weld chain hooks on the front of my bucket and they didn't charge me for it. When I asked what cost extra for the hooks, they told me it was just part of their good service.

Now that, in my opinion, is a good dealer.

Make sure you get the rear tires loaded if you get a FEL, and a block heater if you are up north. Any good dealer will thow these items in at no charge.

Depends how far they've gone with the price. Grind them down, you expect little to no "extras".
