I just took delivery of my 4105. As I was getting used to it, I noticed that are two switches on the left side of the dash that aren't labeled in my manual. Any idea what these might do or is there a checklist of things I could check to see if they affect? Thanks in advance.

Those are not the style JD uses, so they where added by a previous owner. You have to see where the wiring goes to determine what they are for.

In my case, I don't have enough and had to buy one extra from my dealer to the tune of 75 clams but the spot where it goes is already there with a blanking plug so size was important and I wanted them to all match anyway. I thought 75 clams was a bit steep, oh well.

Needed one for my amber LED roof beacon as required now by Michigan law on tractors that are operated on public roadways.

I've just had a look at my 4105 Owner manual (2013 model) and I believe that the vertical switch is for the optional cruise control. (I don't have that option)
Of the two horizontal switches, the upper one is a spare location and the lower one is for your turn-signals... mine is a 'push in' turn-signal whereas yours looks to be a 'slide-over' type.
Here are my switches. (Well, actually one switch 🙂 ):

Thanks!
I don't think I am supposed to have cruise control either. This is just an on/off switch as far as I can tell. I wonder if the previous owner used the additioanl locations to add custom switches. I'm planning on seeing if I can look behind the dash and see if I can tell where they are connected (if at all).

The previous owner may have rigged up extra lighting and utilised those positions.

I have an LED lightbar that I mounted underneath the top of the ROPS, however there is a male/female bullet "socket", just above the PTO, that is hardwired to the light-switch and will activate when switched to the extreme 'right' position (4th position).

Good luck and have fun Mate. Please let us know how it all works out.
