Extra parts... ??

Howdy, anybody with a Mahindra backhoe know what these brackets are for. I figure they have something to do with the 3pt on a backhoe equiped tractor. Maybe extensions for the anti-sway bars for clearance..?? Everything seems to clear the sub-frame fine the way it is now.... Thanks.... Jerry

They are sway bar extensions. I haven't seen them used on the 585 backhoe, but have seen them used on the 509/511 on the 20 series tractors. I haven't sold any 585 backhoes as yet, so just because I haven't seen them doesn't mean they shouldn't be there.

Thanks... maybe they come with the backhoe kit just in case you need them. My lower 3pt arms and the sway bars clear the 4pt backhoe frame OK now...but maybe I will find I will need them someday....

Galen is so right.:thumbsup: I have to use them so my telescopic sway arms clear the tractor half of my 511 subframe.
Have you had anything hanging off of the 3PH yet?:confused3: I would check it to make sure in a tilted, turn the arms will not contact the subframe when the lift is raised.:mur: Or you can send them to me.

I had my big snow blower [ that thing us up north folks use during the winter half of the year to move frozen percipitation off our drives, painted black, by the way ]. Nothing seems to rub, yet..!!! I am making a one ton ballast for the rear using the same bottom 3pt spacing as the blower, so that should be OK too. If I remember correctly, it was 26 or 26 1/2 inch...which most of my other stuff use, too. But I will keep them handy. Thanks for the offer, though....
